CancerConsultants.com is a web site with electronic mailing lists to provide cancer patients and their caregivers with updates on clinical trials and specific cancer type information.
Doctors, Hospitals & Medical Records
American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) has an online Certified Doctor Verification Service that allows patients to verify the board certification status of physicians certified by one or more of the 24 member boards of the ABMS. You will need the correct spelling of the physician's name.
American Hospital Directory provides information on the accreditation status and summary information on the services provided and utilization statistics for most U.S. hospitals.
American Medical Association maintains a list of all licensed physicians in the U.S. Their online "Doctor Finder" service helps research a physician's credentials.
American Health Information Management Association offers information and help related to medical records. About half the states have laws guaranteeing patients access to their medical records.
