Preventing Burnout

Caregiving is physically and emotionally demanding. Burnout is common for those who provide daily care for a friend or a loved one. All caregivers can feel overwhelmed by their tasks and the demands placed on them. Over time, they experience increased stress and anxiety, social isolation, and often depression. All are signs of caregiver burnout.
