Often when caregiving it seems there is just not enough time to do it all. The tools and information in this section will help you think about how to organize care giving help by helping you think about how you are involved, what others can do and how to talk about this with your loved one.

Interactive Tools

Are you sorting out what is important for you to do and what others can help with? The Caregiving Involvement tool helps you think about needed tasks, and those you want to be more involved in.

You can identify the tasks other can do. Use You Don’t Have to Do Everything to sort out what you need help with.

When thinking about getting help, your loved one may have some strong opinions on who they want to help in what ways. For example, they really like your dinners. Use Discussing Care Issues to get ideas for broaching these topics.

There are people who would like to help. Use the Who Might Help Me tool to think of how each person who offers to help can support you and your loved one.

Thanking those who help by taking the time to express a personal thank you can seem impossible. A Note of Thanks can help with this important and rewarding task.
